My OLPC arrived today!

I’m typing this blog entry from my new XO laptop, the product from Nicolas Negroponte’s “One Laptop Per Child” educational project. The design is amazing, and all the touches that a proper geek would expect are here.

Folks, paired with the right educational curriculum, this is the key to making computers work in education.

If you simply use your computer to consume the ideas and instructions you are given, you won’t understand the underlying power of this world changing project.
